Herodotus was the first Grecian historian, known as the Father of History. He was born in the year 484 B.C. in Halicarnassus, Asia Minor. During his youth, he travelled Greece, the Middle East, and North Africa. During his travels, he studied the manners, customs, and religions of the people and find out as much as he could of their explanation. The things he learn from the trip formed the materials of his greatest work, which is called History. After his travels, he visited A wherefores, and then threesome years later he colonised in a colony called Thurii (southern Italy). It was there that he spend the easiness of his life completing his great work, History, which in Greek content inquiry. His writings made him the first person to treasure historical, geographical, and archeologic material critically. In his writings, he wrote an account for the Iranian wars which include fables, superstitions, popular opinions, and verifiable occurrences.
